Actually, no, Trump himself said so.
Not one famous male rockstar would disagree with what Trump said here. And they would probably say it more colorfully than Trump did.
This is more a commentary about certain women rather than being about Trump. Simply, many women are very attracted to famous, powerful men. Trump just states the obvious bluntly in what he thought was effectively a private conversation with another guy. He wouldn't have said it if he knew a woman would hear it - especially the women he was talking about.
It was a great distraction though. Trump knew coming in that he would be vilified for everything, and this just provided a narrative for the MSM that wasn't going to have any lasting effect.
