I’ve not studied the cards in-depth. Lately I was thinking about love and freewill in a meditative state and a few things came to me. I don’t know if any of them are certain so I am just sharing and in no way wanting to force it upon you.
I was thinking about freewill and how this was the first distortion from unity. I have been trying to open my heart and love all, including those who rape and kill. It really struck me how freewill is love and how the creator truly loves all of the creation. We have the possibility of living in harmony but if we choose so, we can suffer.
I imagined a parent watching a child suffer and how hard this is. It then came to me that love does hurt and that to love another, and grant them absolute freedom to choose for themselves what to do, is love itself in a way. For if we do not allow another to be themselves, we are not loving them. We may love the them that we force them to be, but by doing so, they are no longer them. The act of murder contains love because the cocreator was given the freedom to act even if it may hurt itself.
I believe my realisations have to do with the judgement card and how it is through our judgement that we can choose to influence those around us. Judgement is synonymous with wisdom because it is the wise one who knows when to offer the advice as just that, an offering which can be chosen to be accepted. Wisdom is the compassion to allow one to be themselves, we may offer those who seek guidance our view whilst being aware that only our path is the one we can make choices on.
This is why infringing on freewill, even with the best intentions, is negatively polarising. I think the best phrase I know is the road to hell is paved with good intentions.
