Have a great day!
We had pork chops or meatballs (frikadiller), boiled potatoes, and boiled peas for dinner every night for 3 weeks straight! Every family I stayed with ate the same thing for dinner every night!

One thing I saw in Denmark that impressed me very much, was their "Spirit-of-doing-things-together" (there's a specific word for this in Danish, but I can't remember it now). Every town or village, no matter how small, has a community hall, which has a dance floor and sports facilities. There is organized soccer, "handball" (which isn't at all like American handball, it's like soccer, except that the players can carry the ball with their hands), and "gymnastiks", which isn't like our gymnastics, it's more like group calisthenics; and for those too old, or too sedate, for sports, there is folk-dancing one or two nights a week on the dance floor. EVERYBODY in town participates in one or more of these activities. As a consequence, everyone is fit and trim; I saw no overweight people anywhere in the country.
