I read the first one, then set it aside for maybe three weeks and went at it again. I made donations to L/L Research and waited for each next volume to come out. It seemed like each one left me hanging.
Kind of similar to waiting for the next Harry Potter.
I re-read them about three times and then realized that I had questions that the material had answered somewhere, but I hadn't pieced it together as I needed to. So I abandoned my habit of keeping the books pristine and got busy with my highlight marker. I needed to do that before the 7 levels of consciousness settled in, and now they are the base on which I assemble most concepts.
Book 5 was a pleasant surprise, having been teased all those years about what they left out.
