What about space based? Much more accurate and not easily seen.
the problem is, to accurately project such a thing, powerful lasers would need to be used, and in any case they would at least leave a haze, halo, something visible around, as far as i know.
for, lasers will dissipate inevitably with distance. so, if the laser is far away, it will need to be more powerful, hence leave a haze around. if, laser is close, it would be more easily detectable.
not impossible maybe, however, still i see it as unlikely.

OR, more curiously, dont you remember that the govts. which had tesla ufos, were using them to also enhance the 'vibratory change that was engulfing our planet' ? (as told by Ra)
vibratory change that is engulfing our planet is movement from late yellow to early green.
these craft use earth's energy to move about. their speed depends on earth's energy at that point. probably their weapons also depend on earth energy at that point.
this is probably why these govts. were trying to enhance vibratory changes, increasing the vibration would bring more usable energy at that geography.
maybe, some tesla ufo user govt decided to do the same thing at that point, over the dome of rock ?
