Which is fine, except for the fact that Microsoft has a patent to MINE CRYPTOCURRENCY by data mining humans. What a joke these people are. Same guy said we shouldn't eat meat anymore, LOL.
The issue is that much of the technocratic elite are strongly in support of bitcoin and crypto currency. Here's some information I put together a little while ago on that subject.

basically its a look at some of the biggest players in the space, but focusing on Digital Currency Group, probably the largest company/fund operating in the crypto space.
Love this discussion and love the nuanced points everyone has been making. This technology is certainly not black and white. I used to be more romantic about the potential for blockchain/bitcoin to free us from the current monetary system domminated by the central banks and their "debt monetization" (money printing), but now I am a bit more cautious.
I am cautious mainly because the entire basis of digital technology is based on the hyper polarization/abstraction of energy into 0s and 1s. This abstraction allows extreme control to the technologically adept/educated elite. Certainly it can be used to benefit others, but the fundamental pattern still rests on the domination of nature.
One interesting usecase for smart contract platforms revolves around creating governance systems for various organizations. I use to work for MakerDAO an Ethereum based organization used for decentralized leverage, meaning that you can lock ETH (or other crypto) and take out debt against that ETH without any counterparty (besides the Ethereum blockchain). I was involved mainly in designing some of the governance processes.
Seems like there's knowledgeable people here on the blockchain subject. If anyone is working on trying to organize something to aid organizations seeking I would be interested in discussing. I know the crypto space quite well at this point and would love to talk potentials
Nice man, makerDAO is one of the top crypto projects IMO. They are the DeFi pioneers. Why don’t they use Chainlink oracles though? Seems like it would be more reliable than an in-house solution.
