If you start paying attention to the Electric Universe and Suspicious Observers for Space Weather news, there is a lot of interesting information which could correlate to the change in density. David Wilcock has also mentioned some of this before.

1. The length of day is shortening on earth.
2. The earth's magnetic field has weakened by around 60-75% since 1900.
3. The poles are moving toward each other and accelerating, they should meet somewhere east of Indonesian islands. We are in the midst of a pole reversal.
4. The sunspot cycle is approaching a grand minimum which will likely be the next cycle, around 2032 for peak minimum.
5. The earth has a 12,000 year disaster cycle likely fueled by solar micro-nova. We are due.
6. The atmosphere of Venus has recently undergone energetic changes. So has Jupiter, as well as Mars and other planets.
7. There is new research showing the solar system is entering a layer of the Galactic Current Sheet, which is a galactic version of the Solar Current Sheet.
8. One of the Voyager craft iirc encountered a "wall of fire" at the edges of the solar system.
