i've been feeling an intensity as well
keep in mind this new moon (as well as the sun) are in a square with saturn (based on whole-sign aspects, not degree-based aspects) right now. so while the new moon is a good time to plant new seeds, check one's inventory so to speak, it is getting a bit challenged by saturn and it's significations. this could include limitations, isolation, melancholy, maturity, discipline, austerity, etc.
yesterday (5/10/21) the moon also crossed paths and conjoined with uranus for a brief moment, so..... volatile/erratic/unexpected emotions may have surfaced yesterday as well
not sure if you're aware leafy, but jupiter is ingressing into pisces (it's home sign) on the 13th of may as well, after spending the last couple years in saturn signs. so, im not sure about you but i am excited for this transit.... i've seen posts of yours talking about your piscean energy
re: your mind racing - mercury made it into it's home sign of gemini earlier this month.... so, mercury is in pretty fine form at the moment. might be helpful to channel that mental energy into something? just a thought
