Why if the choice is Love does Ra say the choice is service?

My question is simply this.... because Ra is so deliberate in the preciseness of his words, because he doesn't want any of the concepts spoken to be misunderstood in any way...when HE says those in this dimension MUST make a choice, that choice being one of SERVICE to self or others, instead of stating the real choice, which is to Accept Love or not. That is the choice one must make after all. Or is this not as obvious to you as is to myself?? Why state the choice in a service context at all. When the choice to love and love indicates precisely how service pans out. Those without that green Chakra activated as Ra has indicated,  you know the one that is the seat of love, they only would serve themselves...naturally.

So I ask you again why service if the choice is love???

Hi Angel. The reason I think Ra uses the word service is because it speaks to the transparency of personality that occurs when one progresses on the positive path. I think the transparency of self happens because love can make one feel content in themselves and in life in general (apart from the regular struggles we experience when obtaining the necessities of life.) Therefore the self has energy left over that can be directed at empathizing with and helping others. This is what being radiant is, I believe. I perceived radiance in the OP when you expressed concern/regret to those on the STS path. Even that I see as a service in the literal sense.

And I also see that when another person accepts my loving service that it is also a service to myself because I get to see love reflected back at me.

Yet I understand the troubling connotations with the word service. I see it being more of a question of "who does this act intend to benefit?" If the act is consciously intended to benefit the self at the expense of others then that wouldn't be positive or loving.

But I think you're right that at the core of the Choice is whether one seeks more or less love. Yet usually we can't see how strong our love is until we are faced with what we choose to do with that love in the moment.
