Wow, great video Tadeus, thank you for that. I have been contemplating throughout the day "what is the best way to live in this world" (for me). I see so much of the propaganda, the mind traps brought about by social media and even in the food at the grocery stores. A part of me seeks to exist outside of human society, but another part seeks to find a way to help us humans by working and making money somehow. It is easy to feel defeated, but there are also a lot of great movements out there. I just wish we weren't all so overstimulated. Even without social media, etc. there is just so much going on in everyone's life!
I really liked the part of the video about parallel structures. Anarchist-socialist models of community food production and water collection come to mind. I would love to be a part of these sort of movements. They are slowly taking hold in various places around the US. There is a Cooperative Jackson organization in Mississippi I believe that is serving as a great model of a parallel structure. It is my opinion that food production needs to be taken up locally everywhere in the country, this would be a great start toward less reliance on money.
