This is my first post on this website, hello!
I just wanted to comment my deep gratitude that this thread exists in exactly the way that it does. Yesterday I logged on to bring4th to search precisely for threads about covid, the vaccine, and the govt responses.. I came wanting to stretch and challenge my perspective, and also because I was curious what others thought about the spiritual implications of the current times. I read every single reply to this post, and I let each comment sit with me to feel how it made me feel. Each comment had varying distortions of fear and love, and some resonated more than others. By the end, I just felt so grateful that this thread existed with all the varying perspectives to share. Everyone's perspective added to the conversation. I don't have social media and most websites speaking on this subject don't discuss the spiritual implications or if they do, they aren't as varied as this thread has been. So thank all of you for sharing.
As soon as the pandemic started, red flags went up. But I also felt optimistic although I couldn't explain why. I see how the media is provoking fear. Fear is being used on both sides of the vaccine debate in order to persuade people to follow. On the pro-vaccine side they are using the fear of being socially isolated and ostracized from society to encourage people to comply. On the vaccine skeptical side, they are using the fear of being controlled and losing autonomy. Of course it's more nuanced but for simplicity I'll just generally mention the overarching vibes I get when I tap into the fear I allow myself to feel. Both sides of the debate contain elements of the narrative that some Other has more power than you. But this is where Love comes in. Because how you react when you get covid, how you decide to get the vaccine or not get the vaccine doesn't have to be for any of the arguments most commonly presented in the media (mainstream or alternative).
When I got covid, I laid down and spoke with the covid. I greeted it and acknowledged it had decided to have an experience with me. I felt the gratitude for my body and for the virus giving me the opportunity to remind me how strong and resilient I am. I would listen to my husband and toddler laughing and playing in the other room and tears would be streaming down my face- not because I felt any lack of not being able to play with them, but because I felt it was a totally perfect moment. There was total love in the moment, between covid and I having our experience, between my family's joyful simple moment that I got to witness and share in the joy, and it felt that this virus was divine. I believe it was lab created, and also that it is divine.
I have not been vaccinated because I don't appreciate the manipulative efforts being used to encourage the vaccination and I feel resistance to their tactics and at times, total dishonesty. However, I feel very strongly the desire to travel and so i have decided that if I do decide to get vaccinated, I will talk to the vaccine the same way I did to covid. I will then be having an experience with the vaccine, and I will choose to love whatever arises. I believe this is the way that love can transmute anything- even with the awareness of the "negative" influences at play, we can recognize their work to polarize and know deeply that they have no more power than a grain of sand. We still get to choose Love and that's a choice that can be made regardless of what the decision in the illusion looks like.
I've enjoyed reading all of your comments because everyone, despite differing opinions, are in the page of love and i see this as something extending out into other realms of connecting as well.
