Omicron is very good news. It is the end of this pandemic. Very virulent, so it takes all the space, and it creates symptoms that nearly everyone can deal with at home. Nearly no one being hospitalized. Very close to a regular flu.
Since it will displace all other variants, that will be it. (Of course, watch the medias try to nonetheless milk this thing further for all its worth)
