Q'uote of the Day
August 30, 1992
" The gates to learning the truth open only to those who are able to use the keys. The first key is the silence of meditation. And after the resources of meditation, contemplation and prayer have aided the seeker enough to open the heart, then the choices become those focusing into the universal nature of the self and an archetypical understanding that allows the seeker to have more keys minted and placed in the spiritual grasp. Oh how often Q'uo talks about those two words together, Silence and Meditation, helping to bridge key concept and that connection, meditation synonymous with silence..
To reinforce this well why not sprinkle in some words from Ra too..
"Ra: I am Ra. This shall be the last full query of this work time.
Each of the two types of meditation is useful for a particular reason. The passive meditation involving the clearing of the mind, the emptying of the mental jumble which is characteristic of mind complex activity among your peoples, is efficacious for those whose goal is to achieve an inner silence as a base from which to listen to the Creator. This is an useful and helpful tool and is by far the most generally useful type of meditation as opposed to contemplation or prayer"
It is a type of meditation that is a useful baseline to keep in mind, as intuition can kick in and lead to other variants.. And of course silence is a highly subjective term with meditation an how one goes about it! So whatever floats your boat
