I was very hesitant to search for an online guide, because of the feel of the game...the feel from back when we didn't have the incredible database of the internet to look up anything wanted. I got the info about the colors of the planets from the commander, but from being spoiled by the information age I didn't even think to be writing information down.
I was thinking, "Man I wish this game had the collective journal feature most games have nowadays, so I can just search the database in the game for what I need." I think it will add much to the exploratory nature of the game to chart the galaxy in my own fashion. Thanks for the tip Unity.
From the couple races I've really interacted with so far I can tell why you got sucked into this game. They have such deep traits and personalities played out in their dialog. I've enjoyed the feel and atmosphere of the game a lot so far.
