Grats on the wonderfull experience, and beauty deserves a tear or two. There is a sufi poem that states that a single tear is sufficient payment for God to completely give himself to us. That little kitty has much for us to aspire to
I'm glad it made such an impact, it came in through the regular news channels I thought of you guys and forwarded it here without giving it much thought. Only your responses showed me the greater depth in the story.
Peelstreetguy said the image had him thinking all day and that he kind of identified with ugly. That thought in turn kept me busy. It's certainly a valid perspective, we have a little ugly in all of us.
