[Dream State]

'Through the Pane'

Of lost hopes and dreams she thinks,
Staring outside her windowpane;
And of friends long loved and lost,
They who knew her whole once said:

'Shadows form on Earth from those that leave--
By us whom you know fully and grieve.'
