Maybe it can also depend on the life path you are on. I personally like smoking marijuana, however I live in a country where it is highly illegal. On top of that I live in a town where it is really hard to get it. Although, for some divine reason, I get a free toke everytime I go home from school

I thought about that today actually. I have no idea what the lessons of 2d are. Ours is to polarize towards STS or STO. I have no idea what plant life is. Perhaps the lower octaves are about just growing, but as the higher you go you'll find self awareness and realize that one is responsible for the outcome of one's actions.
Now this is only speculation, I would be honored to hear your take on it as well.

EDIT: I just read the Ra answer, haha my guess wasn't that bad then at all. I have a cat that is practically a person, he even communicates verbally and bumps me on my shoulder when he needs something. Also he always follows me around and finds shelter in my haven (room:p) when the horrifying vacuumcleaner plagues the household with its pure evilness.
