Hello, drkdsm. Is that an abbreviation, or just a real tongue twister of a name? :-/ I'm also new, and I asked about the transition between Ra and Qu'o in my other thread about "Carla's challenge." Perhaps someone can point out an answer that will help both of us understand the history.
That's quite an unfortunate misunderstanding. Ra made clear that Ra is not a god to be worshiped, but a fellow student of the One Infinite Creator. It would be more accurate to say that you're learning some ideas about God that are said to clear up some misunderstandings from ancient Egyptian religion. Of course, that in itself may also be unacceptable to your fundamentalist friends, but at least they'll be complaining about what you're actually doing.
