Gosh, there is so much I could say in response to your question...but I'd like to first understand your question better.
Are you asking how to rid oneself of evil influences/energies?
Or, are you asking whether the LOO considers esoteric symbols such as the pentagram to be evil?
Could you possibly be more specific in your question...such as, is there a particular passage in the LOO that made you uncomfortable? Did you maybe read part of the books and find the ideas in conflict with Christianity? Or... are you unsure as to whether it might be appropriate for you and are trying to 'test' it, to make sure it's not evil?
