Meditation is what you make of it. If you follow your line of thinking, sleeping, breathing, eating, any act to aid the self would be considered STS. STS is all about separation, control, and fear. If you meditate upon unity, freedom, and love, you are strengthening STO.
I applaud your progress in discernment, that you wish your every act to be in accordance with your chosen polarity.
Having said that, spend a bit of time on STS/STO studies, then be prepared to throw all of that away. I found that a useful framework for over 10 years. Now I don't care if you wear a black t-shirt or a white t-shirt, I serve the One Creation.
Just meditate. Your being will naturally strengthen what it already is: Love. Peace and Love to You.
