Love that movie! My Mom, she's a whole story unto herself - Carla reminds me of her in many ways, including having RAwas a "devout Christian", and a very real example of sharing Christ's love to everyone around her (again, Carla reminds me of her). Anyway, we had always disagreed on the concept of reincarnation. It made sense to me, she would not even entertain the notion. Mom almost died about 18 months before she actually did die. She was in a coma for three days. After she "returned" from ner NDE, she told me that I had been "closer to the truth" than she would ever admit, and that it really didn't matter if we were reincarnated or not, that the important thing is to make the best use of the time we have now, while we have it, and that our #1 goal should be to show "God's love" to everyone we meet. She told us that during the 3 day "coma" she was in a sort of classroom and was reviewing her life and asked to decide in each circumstace show whether or not she had shown love, or how she might have done better. At the end she was given the option to move on or return. She returned for awhile to "finish up" a few things.
