Smile if you worry about housing, may i suggest building some cob houses. it's more environmentally friendly and if everyone builds them together you'd get a pretty good deal. much cheaper. the houses are also very pretty. although you gotta get building permissions and buy land. but that's it. then everyone can learn to build houses. also if there's a catastrophe it's good to have skills so we can help others and build ourself houses wherever we go.

The cost of buying something like 550m2 of built housing plus 250 of garage + storage + at least 5km of land is about 50k€ right now, something which should be within my means by later this year.

The cost of building such a housing as you would suggest to the building codes in this country (which are stupid strict) would be much much higher.

However, building officially "for-rec use only"(EDIT: Label them as for recreation purposes only but actually use them as houses) and then housing people in them after i have the area + the main houses would be quite easy.

Such as a traditional "long house" style housing would be easy to construct in the soil + materials.
