Yes, it is powerful...and has helped me to. In the end, clinging to information as truth can be stagnating somewhat. I got to the point where I had to stop the merry go round of chasing Earthly information and had to start seeking spiritual information. There are many things in the Earthly knowledge that helps to awaken us or allow us to be aware of what we are or what we are not. I think the more we realize what we are...we will need this Earthly information less and less...eventually being able to let go of this attachment to Earth.
