one subset of ENERGY TRANSFERS is that of a mental transfer of energy between a teacher and student.

The most common mental energy transfer is that of the teacher and the pupil. The amount of energy is dependent upon the quality of this offering upon the part of the teacher, and regards the purity of the desire to serve, and the quality of information offered and, upon the part of the student, the purity of the desire to learn and the quality of the mind vibratory complex which receives knowledge.

two of the key factors in this exchange are:

* the purity of the desire to serve (on the part of the teacher)

* the purity of the desire to learn (on the part of the student)

we can see how problematic this transfer might be when it comes to the institutions we know of as 'schools'. The teacher is quite often willing, but the students are not there by any choice of their own. The subjects are not of their own choosing either.
