I’m not the greatest at interpreting dreams, but I’ll give it a crack. Obviously everything I say is my own opinion only, and I think ultimately the true interpretation of any dream can only be achieved by the receiver of the dream.
Perhaps you feel you are blocking your own progression somehow. I’ve heard that everyone you see in your dreams is a reflection of some part of yourself. If no one else is seeing or hearing you, it could in fact mean that you haven’t opened yourself up to parts of your inner self enough to be able to communicate freely. If you are locked up and the key is destroyed, I would think this represents some kind of strong resistance- a definitive attempt to halt something. Are you feeling hemmed in in any way or is there a particular issue in your life you feel like might be holding you back? Just a thought.
