That is wonderful news Pickle. My ex went into labour at 24 weeks and stayed in labour until 34 weeks when my daughter wouldn't stay put for any longer. My daughter was born at 4 lbs, 8.5 oz, not very big at all. Now at 18 months (16.5 corrected), she is at 98% head size, 77% height and 77% weight. 50% is average for all babies normal and preemie, so don't give up hope no matter what anyone tells you. When I got her home, I started with what they told me and then did what I felt was right. I don't think I slept very much for the first 5 months of my daughters life at home I was so worried, and if I ever actually made it to bed, she co-slept with me. After all she had put me through, I wasn't going to let her sneak away (SIDS) in the middle of the night....
