Well said, Richard! We can't all do everything, so we do what we can. This person obviously felt compelled to document these lost doggie souls, to raise awareness. Others feel drawn to other causes.
We can only wonder how much his seeing those dogs as entities might have aided their evolution. Are they any less deserving of compassion, just because they're younger souls? Speciesism is just another ism, like racism and sexism.
I'm surprised at the responses to this. I naively thought this would be one of those warm and fuzzy, feel-good posts, without any debate. It didn't enter my mind that anyone would debate the merit of such a simple act of kindness. In my opinion, any act of kindness and compassion is to be applauded, not criticized.
