Listen
One night, I dreamed a dream.
I met with a friend I had never seen.
He was a friend indeed, of love, of light.
Who’s radiance was such, it shined that night.
He said to me,
“Listen, my friend. Take heed, indeed.
The time is now, you soon shall see.
Belief in the lord is all you need.
Believe in the One, and you shall see.”
I already do, I said, what’s more to life?
I feel pain, I feel hate, I feel strife.
To be released, I need more than belief.
My life is just simply shame and grief.
“Yes my friend, I do feel your pain.
Your shame, your pain, disdain, the rain.
Yet, I feel the love coursing through your veins.
Thus, here are the tools you need, to go against the grain.
Listen to yourself, for it begins within.
Hear the way your voice moves through your chin.
Attend to the pain coming from within.
Balance your sins, and the door will open.
Listen to the scenery laying around you.
See the divinity in the mundane of the window pane.
See the beauty of the bee’s melodies.
Feel the comfort in natures canopy.
Last but not least, turn to those with whom you feast.
Those that walk and talk, like you and me.
Spread the golden rule wherever you be.
See the beauty in those that hate thee.
They are your brothers, your sisters, your breath.
Those whispers of self, sitting upon the shelf.
Forsake the father if you must.
The choice is yours, this much is true.
He will be waiting in trust, of the love given to you.
He will hear your distant cries, mend your aching wounds.
Follow you till death, and meet you at the tomb.
For when you are in pain, the One also bleeds.
All you must do to hear is to take heed.
So listen my friend.
Listen, indeed.”
Took a lot to be honest with myself and write this.....
I Want it all
Hi.
How are you?
I know how this sounds, but I think I want you.
I want you when you want me too.
I want you when you’re feeling blue.
I want you when your feeling great.
I want you when your running late.
I want you when you’re feeling rude.
I want you when you’re in the nude.
I want you when you’re under the covers,
even when we’re all out of rubbers.
I want your breast against my chest.
I want your ass against my waist.
I want your nectar from your waist.
To reach down, and get a taste.
I want your beauty at its best.
I want to see what’s in store next.
I want to see you sprout and grow.
I want to see you when your unseen.
I want to see your eyelids gleam.
I want your love to have and to hold.
I want you, till I’m grey and old.
I want to lay between your arms,
and know that I have done no wrong.
Okay, maybe I got a little ahead of myself.
But this much is true.
I want you,
and I know you want me, too.
One night, I dreamed a dream.
