I'd imagine that just as the positives want to impress with a sense of wonder and mystery, so would the negatives want to impress with a sense of confusion and blockage. On another note, presumably, if you thought it might be tech there was lack of the feeling of proximity to the source (i.e. because you would have picked up some personal id)? My experience is that for a strong signal, the inner-plane and the 4D negative entities need to be close in order to provide paralysis and clear info like that.
