Hi Horizon! On this forum we talk a lot about being of service to others, so of course it's ok to ask for help! The forum is just getting started, so it doesn't look like everyone is active every day yet...but I'm sure as more people participate, others will offer their suggestions as well.
I know how overwhelming it can be to have past-life memories. I had some intense past-life memories ever since I was a little child, but didn't put the pieces together until I was around 20. For awhile, I became obsessed with that memory, trying to figure it all out. Once I realize what it was I was supposed to learn from it, the nightmares ceased and the obsession vanished. I felt free at last!
We've all done stuff in past lives that we might consider, er, less than optimal. Wanderer or not, we've all stumbled along our paths. So you're not alone!
My first suggestion would be to remember to relax, and allow yourself to assimilate the material. The LOO is some heavy duty stuff, and it can take a bit of time to really sink your teeth into it. It took me a whole year to read the 1st 4 books. I remember reading 1 session each day and having my mind blown! 1 session at a time was all I could handle at the time! But wow, am I glad I did!
There are a number of things I could suggest that might help with your physical symptoms, that cost nothing, so might be worth a try!
1. Drink more water. Headaches are often linked to dehydration, and many people are dehydrated without realizing it. Try to get good quality water if possible, but any water is better than no water. Avoid bottled waters as they are acidic (and cost money). Avoid sodas as they contribute to dehydration. Drink at least 1/2 ounce of water per pound of body weight. Drink a large glass of room-temperature (NOT cold) water upon arising in the morning. Avoid drinking too much with meals; try to drink a lot of water in between meals.
2. The obvious 'eat more fruits and veggies'
3. Check out some yoga books at the library, or do a search on youtube for yoga videos. Yoga is great for health and relaxation, and can also help with opening up the chakras. And it costs nothing!
4. And this is probably the most important: FORGIVE YOURSELF for that past life stuff (whatever it was you did) and anything else that is plaguing you. Think about it...feel the guilt...then take a deep breath, hold it for a few seconds, and bring the feeling of guilt up into the heart area, and affirm to yourself that you love yourself and forgive yourself. Hold the intention of love and forgiveness in your heart, and allow your heart to transmute those feelings into love. Remember that forgiveness breaks the cycle of karma.
5. Forgive other-selves as well.
These are just a few ideas...perhaps you will find them useful.
