the desire to learn will attract the circumstances and the mental environment that will fulfill that learning.

the question is, what is it that we want to learn?

if we can find that level of self-programming, then we can do away with the notion of an outside master, and find the teaching/learning opportunities that we need, exactly when we need them.

I would say that Alan Watts was/is my hero. He was my transition from conspiracy to spirituality. I listened to his lectures before bed every night, dang I miss that man.

He made me my own master in a sense.

I started listening to him on Youtube. He's awesome. Thanks for bringing him up. I had heard his name but I didn't know who he was.

You are welcome, and enjoy! I am pretty sure you can find enough stuff on youtube, he also has an extensive bibliography.
