There was something formless and perfect
    before the universe was born.
    It is serene. Empty.
    Solitary. Unchanging.
    Infinite. Eternally present.
It is the mother of the universe.
For lack of a better name,
    I call it the Tao.
    It flows through all things,
    inside and outside, and returns
to the origin of all things.
    The Tao is great.
    The universe is great.
    Earth is great.
    Man is great.
These are the four great powers.
    Man follows the earth.
    Earth follows the universe.
    The universe follows the Tao.
    The Tao follows only itself.

You revel in taking pictures of your children, 3. When your children grow into adulthood, they will have a lot of material to look back and reminisce. Good of you! Smile

It is funny you should say that to me, 3, a man who sent out his own aged mother from the home in the middle of the night, after cruel psychological torture and the vilest of verbal (psychopathic) curses.

It is also humorous that I have always pictured you as a Forrest type character, who is a goldmine of spiritual and earthy love/light, but undervalues himself due to a sense of light ego. I 'love' you, 3, whatever it means.

    Confused,

It sounds to me that your instant meditation recording makes use of binural beat technology. I have attended a couple of lectures on this, pretty interesting how specific sounds and combinations of sounds (read: vibrations) can instantly change our brain wave levels.

    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Binaural_beats

    also related, brain wave entrainment

    Interesting and helpful.

    Love and Light!

It's an easy self medication. On that note, a big pro of marijuana legalization is that everyone won't be so much on edge. There is another great glamorization that would calm the world down also. That is NAPS. If it were popular to allow a time of the day to take a nap, all the frustrations would decrease significantly. All that "stuff" that makes us want to burst and causes us to do stupid things.... take a nap.... wake up.... "why was I so upset about that? ... anyway... whatever".

Naps!! Make them the new "in" thing. The world will be a better place.

That is so beautiful, Ruth. However, I got the feeling that the guardian of the child did put it at risk. Frustrated dogs can get dangerous, especially at such close proximity with a little infant. Just my thought. Do not know much about domestic pets.

The heavy is the root of the light.
The unmoved is the source of all movement.
Thus the Master travels all day
    without leaving home.
    However splendid the views,
    she stays serenely in herself.
Why should the lord of the country
    flit about like a fool?
If you let yourself be blown to and fro,
you lose touch with your root.
If you let restlessness move you,
you lose touch with who you are.

Wow, I would take a look at those Universal Intelligence vids, but for the moment I've had quite enough of the universal-consciousness. It's quite tiring, and there's no rest at that level (always bombarded by negative influences). But it was fun to learn interesting facts such as there being 10^49 universes within a larger Absolutum Universe according to Pleiadian technology, and the great central sun of a Universe being called a Sohar. I learned about Polars as well but they're a bit harder to describe (they're also called cataclysmic variable stars with circularly and linearly polarized light).

The fascinating thing about these binary stars is that the infalling gas will form an accretion stream rather than the typical accretion disk. I think of them as cosmic projectors. Here's the music they play. Lookie there, it's 6 octaves:

Another cool part of universal consciousness is that I could search pretty much any subject and find a YouTube video for that at some advanced level that I wouldn't find in my normal state.

Oh, and don't fall for that "you gotta let the caged bird fly" mumbo-jumbo that negatives might give you, trying to fool you into opening yourself up to infinity without limit. You have to stay safe guys.

Even searching youtube for "Ra, are you there?" yielded 4 albums on YouTube that were negative influenced, set to heavy metal music, and told me how badly I had messed things up. It definitely keeps you on your toes.

Thanks Confused. I'm doing well now, taking Risperdal daily to keep my mind focused and grounded. It can be somewhat easy for my mind to fly away. This culminated for me on October 28, the day I had to go to the mental hospital.
Definitely 100% better now. Those doctors really know what they're doing.

So if anyone else here is too stressed out, or can't take it, definitely seek help. It's a very friendly atmosphere, and so conducive to keeping one mentally stable.

Thanks for sharing that, GW. It is such a lovely gesture from you to share your own 'vulnerability'. It makes the reader feel that they are not alone in the 'individual' struggle of the balancing of the m/b/s.

My sanity has been under continuous assault too. I sometimes feel that I am seeing my own mind deteriorate before my very 'eyes'. Ra says that it is very difficult to face one's own self, a test that may even cause insanity (if I recollect correctly). I think it is because it contains the deepest of subconscious secrets and motivations, which I may not want to acknowledge in the conscious domain. In that subconscious space, might lie the seeds of greatest evil and insensitivity as well. I have faced them in me and am shocked at my own level and ability for brutality and depravity. However, I also take comfort that the opposite is possible, if I so wish to focus my desire/will, with the knowledge that all actions are to be dedicated in service of the ONE.

You're right Confused. It's possible all this evil imagery I was seeing, the freaky crap I call it, is all a part of me, rather than an attack by a negative being. I kept feeling the negative being sucked into my solar plexus and I feared because I remembered Ra saying something about how unusually dense was the field of a negative being in the solar plexus. I still had love in my heart that kept me balanced and somewhat sane, but I was afraid because of how dense was my solar plexus. I felt like I was transmuting the sins of the world it was such an epic bad feeling. I thought God was punishing me, it was so bad.

But there was also a lot of love as well. I still had the things I loved, and they gave me strength (particularly furry stuff). I was also able to overcome the difficulty when I gave it over to God (or what higher being you believe in). I mean I'm not one to get religious, but it does make me think about where it all fits in.

We might see more of this as we head into 2012. If we are indeed venturing deeper into the subconscious, as is the rest of the world, there's going to be a lot of freaky stuff to deal with. At least the Risperdal gives me the clear mind to take on what comes without being waylayed by it. I feel we must come to peace with this side of ourselves in order to evolve.

This picture here has gotten me through a lot. As has this song. It's kind of how I see God, as a best friend.

A good song about not giving up is The River by Garth Brooks. Couldn't find that on YT though. Here's the lyrics:

You know a dream is like a river
    Ever changing as it flows
And the dreamer's just the vessel
That must follow where it goes
Trying to learn from what's behind you
And never knowing what's in store
Makes each day a constant battle
Just to stay between the shores.

    (chorus)
And I will sail my vessel
    'Til the river runs dry
Like a bird upon the wind
    These waters are my sky
    I'll never reach my destination
    If I never try
So I will sail my vessel
    'Til the river runs dry.

Too many times we stand aside
And let the waters slip away
'Til what we put off 'til tomorrow
    Has now become today
So don't you sit upon the shoreline
    And say you're satisfied
    Choose to chance the rapids
And dare to dance the tide.

And I will sail my vessel
    'Til the river runs dry
Like a bird upon the wind
    These waters are my sky
    I'll never reach my destination
    If I never try
So I will sail my vessel
    'Til the river runs dry.

And there's bound to be rough waters
And I know I'll take some falls
But with the good Lord as my captain
I can make it through them all.

Yes I will sail my vessel
    'Til the river runs dry
Like a bird upon the wind
    These waters are my sky
    I'll never reach my destination
    If I never try
So I will sail my vessel
    'Til the river runs dry.

Yes, I will sail my vessel
    'Til the river runs dry
    'Til the river runs dry
