Out of all the stuff I've read by Lovecraft, I've got to say the Colour Out of Space was pretty chilling. Usually written things can't make me uncomfortable but that definitely makes you ponder if everything from outer space would have good intentions for us or question if "channeled" entities wouldn't simply deceive people.

looks like theres a modern adaptation of Colour Out of Space but there's also a horror movie about From Beyond. It's all uniquely horrifying
