this is performance, my heart starts to sing and I feel it tingling if i just let go to that - just feeling, not focusing on message or anything, just the feeling of the creative artist and beautiful performance http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ob6RRcw3V...re=related

What I loved is it demonstrates unity consciousness--- Oneness very succinctly. I also love the Song... it is very joyous to listen to!

the one thing that i miss from going to church is hymns, such a powerful thing to hear a group of voices raised in song - my favourite is the prayer of st francis - we used to sing this version - beautiful

Make me a channel of your peace,
Where there is hatred let me bring your love,
Where there is injury your pardon Lord,
And where there's doubt true faith in you.

Make me a channel of your peace,
Where there's despair in life, let me bring hope,
Where there is darkness, only light,
And where there's sadness, ever joy.

O Master grant that I may never seek,
So much to be consoled as to console,
To be understood as to understand,
To be loved as to love with all my soul.

Make me a channel of your peace,
It is in pardoning that we are pardoned,
In giving to all men that we receive
And in dying that we are born to eternal life.

I love this one Lorna, I think my favorite. St. Francis is my patron saint. Sarah Maclachlan has a version:

    Children wake up,
    hold your mistake up,

If the children don’t grow up,
our bodies get bigger but our hearts get torn up.
We’re just a million little god’s causin rain storms turnin’ every good thing to rust.

This is my first post here, hello everybody! I have arrived. Heart

Bob Marley! I've been listening to the legends CD before each of my trips to the river! Man can that CD ever help me get the energy flowing through the chakras.

I love the song, "Could You Be Loved". Amazing groove.

    The Lyrics:

Could you be loved and be loved?
Could you be loved and be loved?

    Don't let them fool ya,
Or even try to school ya! Oh, no!
We've got a mind of our own,
So go to hell if what you're thinking is not right!
Love would never leave us alone,
A-yin the darkness there must come out to light.

Could you be loved and be loved?
Could you be loved, wo now! - and be loved?

(The road of life is rocky and you may stumble too,
So while you point your fingers someone else is judging you)
    Love your brotherman!
(Could you be - could you be - could you be loved?
Could you be - could you be loved?
Could you be - could you be - could you be loved?
Could you be - could you be loved?)

Don't let them change ya, oh! -
Or even rearrange ya! Oh, no!
We've got a life to live.
They say: only - only -
Only the fittest of the fittest shall survive -
    Stay alive! Eh!

Could you be loved and be loved?
Could you be loved, wo now! - and be loved?

    (You ain't gonna miss your water until your well runs dry;
No matter how you treat him, the man will never be satisfied.)
Say something! (Could you be - could you be - could you be loved?
Could you be - could you be loved?)
    Say something! Say something!
(Could you be - could you be - could you be loved?)
Say something! (Could you be - could you be loved?)
Say something! Say something! (Say something!)
Say something! Say something! (Could you be loved?)
Say something! Say something! Reggae, reggae!
    Say something! Rockers, rockers!
    Say something! Reggae, reggae!
    Say something! Rockers, rockers!
Say something! (Could you be loved?)
    Say something! Uh!
    Say something! Come on!
Say something! (Could you be - could you be - could you be loved?)
Say something! (Could you be - could you be loved?)
Say something! (Could you be - could you be - could you be loved?)
Say something! (Could you be - could you be loved?)

    A beautiful album...

Nick Barber - Clear Blue Sky

Very spiritual in origin, for example one song (Teacher) regards this universe as being made of light and glued together by love.

Wow, what a variety of beautiful music you have all compiled! (especially the cat playing pianoWink

I have a few recommendations as some music has been standing out, so to speak, to me lately. I will give an example of a song (with a few lyrics) from each band or artist, and leave it to you to look more closely into any that might strike a note with you.

Adam Web: Once We Were Stars
-Very positive, upbeat acoustic guitar songs made by a friend who is starting out with a music career. http://www.adamwebmusic.com

    Once we were stars
We strayed a far way from home
    We must return and reglow
    Too much potential
    We waste on these medals
    Of pride and gold
We are God in other clothes
We just believe it isn't so

    Rush: Freewill
-Progressive rock. Very talented musicians! Also check out 'Closer to the Heart'
    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6mEzgc_ne...re=related

You can choose a ready guide in some celestial voice.
If you choose not to decide, you still have made a choice.
    You can choose from phantom fears and kindness that can kill;
    I will choose a path that's clear
    I will choose freewill.

    Tool: Parabola
    -Progressive rock. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=x3R4zkblHZk

We barely remember, who or what came before this precious moment.
We are choosing to be here, right now. Hold on, stay inside...
This holy reality, this holy experience. Choosing to be here in...
This body. This body holding me. Be my reminder here that I am not alone in
This body, this body holding me, feeling eternal all this pain is an illusion.

    Samael: Moongate
-Industrial Metal-? The music and singing may sound very dark at first, but if you realize the message of the lyrics, the music overall sounds positive, but deeply and powerfully spoken. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gwhRzf1eJUM

Clashes of thoughts, of desires and hope
lift you up, straight to the top of the world
With fluidity of energy in constant availability
All that glitters all that matters beyond rivalries
    Amplified universality, transcending dualities
    Body chemistry, linked spiritually
Right in time every time, synchronized all along
    Destiny, tomorrow is today
    Destiny, without boundaries
How many nights will we spend together traveling infinity back and forth and again
How many times will we go together questioning eternity about us about our wonders...

~The more I experience, the more I come to realize that just about any encounter in this world can have an important lesson or meaning derived from it. Music is no exception.~

stumbled across an old favourite - 'Love... thy will be done' by Martika, written by Prince:

    Love, thy will be done
    I can no longer hide
    I can no longer run
No longer can I resist the guiding light
It gives me the power to keep up the fight
    Love...thy will be done
Since I have found you my life has just begun
And I see all of your creations as one
    Perfect complex
No one less beautiful or more special than the next
We are all blessed and so wise to accept
    Thy will love be done

    Love, thy will be mine
And make me strive for the glorious and divine
I could not be more, more satisfied (satisfied…)
Even when there's no peace outside my window
    There's peace inside
And that's why I no longer run (I no longer run)
    Love thy will be done

    Love, thy will be done
    I can no longer hide
I can no longer run (no….)
    Love, thy will be done
    Thy will love be done

As the name implies "RA Music". I haven't tried it, but you are suppose to be able to filter existing mp3 music and such through it to enhance it with a more natural frequency, or something like that.
