i loved that ep so much. my favorite part is at the very end when he looks at geordi while he's in the process of being dematerialized / energized / teleported...

makes u wonder if his apparent recollection of individuality/friendship was simply a glitch caused by being energized or did it turn out to be something he was allowed to remember even after being converted back into matter

the fact that the memory hit him right after the dematerialization began makes me think it was just a glitch that lasted only briefly
