At this point of my life right now, I'm probably chaotic good. I've been researching some radical socialist ideas lately (radical as in extreme). By the way, I think that that the Firefly chaotic evil is very, very sexy.  Blush

He's a democratic socialist. I don't believe in democracy anymore. I believe in a socialist dictatorship. But not a Marxist dictatorship. I don't want to say too much because what I believe is very controversial.

I act very diffently depending on where I'm at and with whom I'm with, let's say that on that day he had particular reasons to be right with the chaotic part haha

I'd say on this forum I am very lawful neutral. In real life I am true neutral. With close friends I am very chaotic neutral, chaotic neutral being the one when I probably am most myself.

I believe that elected leaders are not really experts. I believe that a democracy can exist in a transition to a dictatorship. But leaders need to prove that they are capable of leading. Doctors and pilots are not elected. Therefore leaders should work their way to a position of leadership. That's about as much as I can say without getting kicked off this board since the nuances of what I believe are very, very controversial.

I tied with neutral and chaotic good, which I feel is pretty accurate. I'm having trouble coming to grips with the (current) accuracy of my husband's assessment. Neutral evil? According to that site...

    The Neutral Evil Code

The personal code of a neutral evil character may look like this:

    1. You shall lie to advance yourself.
    2. You shall harm the innocent to advance yourself.
    3. You shall kill to advance yourself.
    4. You shall not aid the weak.
    5. You shall honor those who are stronger.
    6. You shall follow the law only to advance yourself.
    7. You shall betray friends, family, community, and nation to advance yourself.
    8. You shall not aid those who protect the weak.
    9. You shall not show mercy to enemies.
    10. You shall seek unlimited power over others.

Ten Neutral Evil Signs of Weakness
Likewise, a neutral evil character may consider the following as signs of weakness. A sign of weakness indicates that the character is straying from the cruel tenets of the neutral evil philosophy. This list is given in the order of least severe infraction to most severe.

    1. Failing to show malice or inflict pain upon an innocent when it would be pleasurable to do so.
    2. Not challenging a clearly weak leader for leadership.
    3. Keeping your word when doing so would interfere with personal gain.
    4. Refusing to commit cruel act that would harm your enemy or rival when appropriate.
    5. Making a sacrifice to help another when not important to your survival.
    6. Failing to commit cruel acts that are in your best interest.
    7. Refusing to kill for personal gain or wealth.
    8. Turning down a chance to gain power or wealth.
    9. Showing mercy to one who is opposed to you or your cause.
    10. Aiding the servants of Goodness.

It's interesting, though, because this is actually probably an accurate picture of his alignment when he was a teenager. He was involved in violent gangs and committed many thefts. Then he a few several angry years as a drunk berating people on the internet. In fact, #1 on the "signs of weakness" list almost makes me chuckle, because that indeed used to be one of his pastimes. He's even lamented the loss of the joy he used to get being snarky all the time. He also once told me that I taught him that it was possible to get pleasure from helping people and being nice and doing good. So, while *maybe* 1/5th of those might be applicable to him today, most of them are decidedly NOT accurate, and I find it interesting that his self-image still reflects this self and not his current self. The second highest he got was neutral good, like me, which makes sense because I see us as very alike. But my personal assessment putting it all together I believe would label him, within the confines of the system, as a chaotic neutral.

I believe that elected leaders are not really experts. I believe that a democracy can exist in a transition to a dictatorship. But leaders need to prove that they are capable of leading. Doctors and pilots are not elected. Therefore leaders should work their way to a position of leadership. That's about as much as I can say without getting kicked off this board since the nuances of what I believe are very, very controversial.

    i agree w u.

they can't kick anyone out for having opinions Tongue tell me more.

Trust me, it gets very controversial. I might violate a guideline or more. I might even offend you for all I know. I don't want to get kicked out of here. I still like it here.

don't be shy. it truly can't violate guidelines unless u personally attack a board member. own ur opinions!

I'd have to check the guidelines, but I'm almost positive that it violates at least one guideline.
