    I've thought of this some.

Truly possitive to my mind should just be the one law.

    We are all one.

A lot of the dogma/"fact" is stuff that is really only useful to quiet the mind of worry about oblivion and perhaps provide some sort of symbolic map, yet it too feeds ego/separation in a way/distortion. All the hierarchy/levels of attainment, the individuization of souls,... in a way it leads away from the Law of One, that we are one.

I don't think humans would have openly accepted a version that said. Just We are one, that's all there is. Of course we have past lives because all lives our ours. Then again perhaps all this illusion of other selves is part of the game of separation. Either way Ra isn't negative at worst he could be neutral because he is us. None of us are really dark or light. All one. I'd say much like each of us/ each perspective of the one he is just playing his part.

If after this I'm absorbed into the one and again another bit of us spawns as new life what is the issue, consciousness continues. Our egos make loss of self feel unwanted but really it's no different that the storey of Ra's. All eventually leads back to one.

Pick what you are comfortable with I guess.

    No offence to anyone intended.

One little example that I found today. I'm reading some theosophical works. In the book "The Masters And The Path" by C. W. Leadbeater (written in 1925) there's this part:

    Quote:REALIZATION OF UNITY

All that lives is really one, and it is the duty of those who enter the Brotherhood to know that as a fact. We are taught that the Self is one, and we try to understand what that means; but it is quite a different thing when we see it for ourselves, as the candidate does when he enters the buddhic plane. It is as if in physical life we were each living at the bottom of a well, from which we may look up at the sunlight in the world above; and just as the light shines down into the depth of many wells, and yet ever remains the one light, so does the Light of the One illumine the darkness of our hearts. The Initiate has climbed out of the well of the personality, and sees that the light which he thought to be himself is in very truth the Infinite Light of all.

While living in the causal body, the ego already acknowledged the Divine Consciousness in all; when he looked upon another ego his consciousness leapt up as it were to recognize the Divine in him. But on the buddhic plane it no longer leaps to greet him from without, for it is already enshrined within his heart. He is that consciousness and it is his. There is no longer the “you” and the “I,” for both are one-- facets of something that transcends and yet includes them both.

Yet in all this strange advance there is no loss of the sense of individuality, even though there is an utter loss of the sense of separateness. That seems a paradox, while yet it is obviously true. The man remembers all that lies behind him. He is himself, the same man who did this action or that in the far-off past. He is in no way changed, except that now he is much more than he was then, and feels that he includes within himself many other manifestations as well. If here and now a hundred of us could simultaneously raise our consciousness into the intuitional world, we should all be one consciousness, but to each man that would seem to be his own, absolutely unchanged, except that now it included all the others as well.

To each it would seem that it was he who had absorbed or included all those others, so we are here manifestly in the presence of a kind of illusion, and a little further realization makes it clear to us that we are all facets of a greater consciousness, and that what we have hitherto thought to be our qualities, our intellect, our energies have all the time been His qualities, His intellect, His energy. We have arrived at the realization in actual fact of the time-honoured formula : “Thou art That.” It is one thing to talk about this down here and to grasp it, or to think that we grasp it, intellectually; but it is quite another to enter into that marvellous world and know it with a certainty that can never again be shaken.

When this buddhic consciousness fully impresses the physical brain, it gives a new value to all the actions and relations of life. We no longer look upon a person or object, no matter with what degree of kindliness or sympathy; we simply are that person or object, and we know him or it as we know the thought of our own brain or the movement of our own hand. We appreciate his motives as our own motives, even though we may perfectly understand that another part of ourselves, possessing more knowledge or a different view-point, might act quite differently.

Yet it must not be supposed that when a man enters upon the lowest sub-division of the intuitional world he at once becomes fully conscious of his unity with all that lives. That perfection of sense comes only as the result of much toil and trouble, when he has reached the highest sub-division of this realm of unity. To enter that plane at all is to experience an enormous extension of consciousness, to realize himself as one with many others; but before him there opens a time of effort, of self-development, analogous at that level to what we do down here when by meditation we try to open our consciousness to the plane next above us. Step by step, sub-plane by sub-plane, the aspirant must win his way; for even at that level exertion is still necessary if progress is to be made.

Having passed the first Initiation and consciously entered the buddhic plane, this work of developing himself on sub-plane after sub-plane now lies before the candidate, in order that he may get rid of the three great fetters, as they are technically called, which embarrass his further progress. He is now definitely on the Path of Holiness, and is described in the Buddhist system as the Sotapatti or Sohan, “he who has entered the stream”; while among the Hindus he is called the Parivrajaka, which means “the wanderer,” one who no longer feels that any place in the three lower worlds is his abiding-place of refuge.

    Peace, love and light.

So beautifully put. Thank you for sharing that. It's the understanding I am starting to grasp, nice to see it in print.

Crazy syncronisity, seems he is associated with the brotherhood of light.
I had quite an annusual reaction when they were brought up in the tarot thread I started about a week ago. Guidance is interesting, self guidance it seems.

I personally took Ra's statements of polarity being abandoned as more akin to...

Well, are you familiar with their passage where they say that, 'that which is not needed falls away'?

In the Sixth Density, also known as the Density of Unity, most dichotomies would probably-- across the looooong span of time it takes for harvest to come around-- have been explored and distilled, the result, polarity naturally no longer being needed falls away, to those that do not grasp onto these energies and holds onto them, this can be seen as being described as 'abandoning polarity'.  Further, the concept of Unity implies that in an environment of Unity, both Polarity and Nonpolarity would exist, leaving it possible for a 6D entity to identify as a certain polarity, while also being above or without either polarity and purely it's self.

I think Ra contains within it, as all entities that have explored their true nature of unity, the ability of both positive and negative, but with a clear bias towards specific areas, in Ra's case a desire to help and not leave behind the distortions they initiated in our 3D Earthly societies.  They also probably have a love and respect for the negative polarity, and try to avoid portraying them as we human's might see them, as monsters or psychopaths or sociopaths or human's that need to be controlled for everyone else's sake, when really their presence is integral.

I used to think Ra was negative.  In truth, just as you or I or anyone else reading this, we all encompass energies of positive and negative, to believe an entity is purely one polarity is to invite misunderstanding and the distortions that come with it into the self.

Quote:1.1 Questioner: It seems members of the Confederation have a specific purpose. Is this true with you, and if so, what is your purpose?

Ra: I am Ra. We communicate now. We, too, have our place. We are not those of the Love or of the Light. We are those who are of the Law of One. In our vibration the polarities are harmonized, the complexities are simplified, and the paradoxes have their solution. We are one. That is our nature and our purpose.

We are old upon your planet and have served with varying degrees of success in transmitting the Law of One, of Unity, of Singleness to your peoples. We have walked your earth. We have seen the faces of your peoples. This is not so with many of the entities of the Confederation. We found it was not efficacious. However, we then felt the great responsibility of staying in the capacity of removing the distortions and powers that had been given to the Law of One. We will continue in this until your, shall we say, cycle is appropriately ended. If not this one, then the next. We are not a part of time and, thus, are able to be with you in any of your times.

Does this give you enough information from which to extract our purpose, my brother?

I doubt Ra are negative. At least their intent (a message of unity and mystery). However their information did have and can have mixed effects on people:

Quote:18.1 Questioner: I was thinking last night that if I were in the place of Ra at this time, the first distortion of the Law of One might cause me to mix some erroneous data with the true information that I was transmitting to this group. Do you do this?

Ra: I am Ra. We do not intentionally do this. However, there will be confusion. The errors which have occurred have occurred due to the occasional variation in the vibrational complex of this instrument due to its ingestion of a chemical substance. It is not our intent in this particular project to create erroneous information but to express in the confining ambiance of your language system the feeling of the infinite mystery of the one creation in its infinite and intelligent unity.

What might seem negative or unrighteous is the message of equal validity of STO/STS paths instead of preference for STO. Everyone finds a place under the sun. There is no punishment for 3D STS entities but harvest puts them to a place, where they can further refine.

It can be sometimes, though it still comes from the usual place @@...

To absolute zero, any cold is actually hot, or at least warm Wink
