I haven't been to any homecoming before but I think it would be awesome to meet alot of you in person. And since harvest might be this december this could be our last chance to join our energies to help stragglers choose a path and quickly polarize.

Anyone planning on coming? Anyone live in Kentucky and know some cheap places to stay?

At this point I'm wondering if there will *be* a homecoming...it all depends on if Carla can go ahead and get her surgery and then recover properly. I know doing so soon after her last surgery last year really took a lot out of her. If there is one, though, I'll certainly be there...I only live about 20 minutes away. Smile They usually send out a list of cheap places to stay once homecoming is announced.

Oh, I keep forgetting about her poor health. I hope she gets better.

In that case maybe we could plan our own Bring4th get together this summer at some central location.

Ocean, there were no silent meditations as the homecoming last year (that I noticed anyway, I had to miss about half of it due to work), but there was some channeling and certainly a lot of love and light exchanged. I'm sure it wouldn't be hard to get people to join in group meditations if you asked. We've had silent meditations at the weekly meditations before...a very positive experience.

I was also thinking about trying to get people together even if Carla is unable to host it this year. I'd invite everyone to come stay with me, except that I live in a small, one bedroom apartment that feels cramped with just two people in it, and my husband and I are usually quite broke. I'd be open to any suggestions, however.

Now there's an interesting idea. I bookmarked that site a long time ago and haven't really gotten around to looking at it. I'll have to check it out.

i would love to come to homecoming but i am allergic to cats and i believe Carla has several of them. if we can all meet somewhere here along the east coast that would be great. for me something starting on a friday and ending of a sunday would be best

We do have group meditations at Homecoming (you missed last year's, Akhtu) and they are great.

I plan to attend (assuming that there is one). I'd urge everyone who can do so, to attend, for reasons discussed above. No one knows how many more times we'll be able to do this.

Louisville actually is pretty central, for North America.

One option we might consider, for those who can't get to Louisville, is having regional meetings of Bring4thers at various spots all over the globe, at the same time as homecoming. We have members in the UK, Sweden, Germany, and other areas distant from KY; maybe some people at other location could volunteer to organize these? I'm sure Carla would be willing to send out an outline of her program for homecoming, as a starting point for discussions.

That's a good idea, so I made this topic: http://www.bring4th.org/forums/showthread.php?tid=2371
