That, was hilarious to say the least.

Imagine what Ra would say if he were blazed; better yet, imagine Ra tripping on a high dose of psychedelics... dear god LOL

Well, it is illegal, so... :-/ .... I would like to get some for my wife before she gets to retirement age. I'm slowly presenting the idea to her.... maybe when the youngest is in high school.... 2026

That was funny 3D. Hadn't heard of Siri before. Cool. Have to see what else this guy has.
He reminds me of Adam Savage from Mythbusters.

That is a pretty good practice... i do that myself...
I meditate once in the morning sober, smoke one up in office and den come bak, smoke one and sit down 2 meditate or listen 2 'mars volta' n jam and dance away (i feel like dats a kind f a prayer/meditation too)..

But yea.. its its starting to dawn on me that although hash/weed has helped me up2 this point greatly, it cannot assist me further, or more like, ill hv 2 let it go 2 go further (in my meditations)... but its just 2 HARD!

I'd just like to make a suggestion to you, that you may find it beneficial to refrain from smoking weed at night.

Oneiromancy (the art of divination through dreams, gathering messages from your dreams) can be a very integral art to undertake in the life of someone who seeks to further their personal connection with the Universe. Unfortunately, in my experience at least, this cannot happen if your REM sleep is suppressed and your dream recall is weak, both things which stem from ingesting THC at night.

For this, I personally try and make it a rule of thumb to not smoke weed beyond 5PM, and that is already pushing it! Maybe 3-4PM will be the last time for the day I bother to, this way my dreams do get more vivid but I can still remember them.

Everyone's body chemistry is different, however, and this in fact might not even be an issue for you! Maybe you're one of the people who can still recall their dreams just fine untainted by late-night weed smoking, but if dreams are something you are interested in and seem you cannot remember them, here's a small heads up on why that may be.

In any case, good luck on your personal journey through life! Smile I do hope this advice helps you.

Thats an amazing realization... I too have been thinkin about this lately. I do smoke hash at night and ever since ive read about dreams and watched David Wilcock's videos, it dawned on me dat i dnt remember ANY of my dreams... And so i had been looking for this answer.. Thanx so much..
    : )
One more thing, does smoking up distort the nature of the dream too?

Thanks for the advice. I find I can remember my dreams about 70% of the time if I smoke before bed. I'am a very very bad sleeper and have been since I was young. Went to the doctor when I was younger got prescribed all sorts of different sleeping medication but none of it worked.

Weed works amazingly however and have been a nightly smoker ever since.

But yes I would highly recommend trying my method of meditating sober, then smoking some weed. It is like you feel the effect doubling. Personally in the first meditation I do the contemplating and in the second I try to concentrate on improving/increasing energy flow throughout the chakras.

Just the other night after my 2nd meditation I was sitting on the rug I meditate on, on this rug there is a leaf like object coloured bright green with 7 points. I was meditating on the green ray energy and the number 7 kept popping into my head over and over. So I put my hand on the leaf and visualized the green energy transferring from the symbol into my arm and throughout my body.

I saw green flames shoot up my arm and engulf my body, the feeling of ecstasy and sheer power I felt was second only to my what I think was my kundalini awakening. I then broke down in a sweat and cried tears of joy. Truly amazing.

Also what colour is marijuana Wink.

I haven't touched it in 23 years. But mostly cause I quit smoking everything back then. Had some interesting experiences and fun times with it. But nothing even remotely spiritual. It made everything hilarious, made music sound better, made me hungry enough to eat the damndest things and in public, it made me paranoid a lot of times.

It was part of growing up. But I don't miss it. I do miss some of those friends from way back then though.

Richard, since you and 3D are not living far away, I picture you both smoking it up in 2026, when Monkeys kids are at an age to be able to provide you with weed. Good times!

About Marijuana and dreams, many people experience that their dreamlife becomes a lot poorer during smoking periods. Actually Terence Mckenna had some very interesting ideas about this phenomenon.

Check out http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DBQCWVAmEik you won't be disappointed!

I myself don't have a very rich dreamlife at all. I remember fragments of dreams only sometimes and I don't even smoke regularly. Anyway, perhaps the marijuana can do the same job as dreams?

Maybe the subconscious won't have to shower us in messages every night if we smoke? I don't know :p

Anyone else than me that don't recall dreams very often?

For your sleep troubles I'd suggest Valerian Root, Melatonin, the seeds of Datura Stramonium/Inoxia (no more than 3-5), and Calea Zacatechichi, which is also known as the Dream Herb and was utilized by the Chontal indians drunken as a tea followed by a joint of the plant material smoked, which resulted in great ease of sleep and the doors to the dream realm flung right open. They used it exclusively for divination through dreaming.

I have used it in the past to great success and apart from easily falling into a sound sleep I did experience extremely vivid and clear, long dreams. I suggest you look into that for an herbal smoke which will definitely assist you with sleep-related issues, and while it has no psychoactive effects when awake it does give you an immense feeling of mental clarity and is thus an excellent meditative aid. The downside is that it has a VERY bitter taste (no amount of sugar and chamomile mint, saffron, and peach flavored tea bags could mask it lol) and its not the smoothest smoke, but it works well for the aforementioned reasons. ZZzz

That sounds like an interesting and awesome experience, did you actually witness green flames or was it a greenish aura? And I'm aware of how meditation on cannabis can be (as well as how it can be on entheogens Wink ). Have you had "third eye" sort of experiences such as this before from it?

Also hope the sleep aid/lucid dream potentiator list I gave you above helps. Smile

As for the color, it only reinforces green being the love color Wink

Thanks for the advice. I have tried melatonin before with no luck but will look into the others, hit up my local hippy herbs shop I guess.

As for what I saw it is hard to describe as the state I'am in at the time isn't exactly clear. I have learnt to open eye meditate and distort/warp my vision, when I do this I feel distinct energy in my third-eye/frontal lobes. I see geometry/patterns/shapes. Weed strengthens this immensely and when I concentrate enough can see a spiralling vortex of patterns.

Also when concentrating on chakra energy I can change the colour of these distortions, so for example when meditating on the heart chakra I will change it to green or indigo for the third-eye so on and so on, this change of colour is met by an immediate burst of energy in the chakra and the body itself.

So for the green flames incident I did the open eye meditation and just visualized green flames/energy covering my arm and sure enough they appeared accompanied by the extreme burst of energy.

JI'am experimenting and developing this nightly these last few weeks the results have been intense, due to the increase of green ray energy I suspect.

Thanks for the link, Wander. that was very enlightening. To think that marijuana enables us to experience our 'dream energy' through the distortion of reality is pretty out there, but I kinda like that theory... Maybe that's why so many sleep so well - nothing else to do after you've lived your dreams for an evening!

Also, funny to hear such an eloquent and smart individual have such an awesome stoner drawl.

Marijuana has opened me to both past lives (not just a vision; I was there - with the entire state of being; a todo list, emotions, friends etc.) and celestial music.

Both I am now aiming to experience by sobre induction, as I understand that marijuana is simply a permission slip :¬)

Be careful what you wish for.
I could say "no you don't" but I don't know your mind.
