I believe that I am actually a balance of all the categories, perhaps with a bit more of the relater. I'm pretty adaptable, can take charge if necessary, I can be very organized and analytical, and although I am not at all controlling, I am a bit of an achiever - though on my own terms of my own goals.

I was thinking today that perhaps your Mother has set for you an example of loving your abuser. Perhaps I'm wrong, but that's what I get from what you have said here. I sincerely appreciate your open honesty, and your persistent presence here, Confused.

Very true, Ruth. My mother has indeed set the example of a person who can still love a most vile abuser. However, no one should allow oneself to be abused in the name of sacrifice and love. It finally ends counterproductive for all. I feel for my mother who ended up being treated and frightened badly by her own son.

I have displayed manic mood swings and deep frightening violent temper. May be probably bi-polar disorder type. However, she still serves her son with patience and hope, believing all will get well. A son who just refuses to grow up despite almost coming close to middle age. Though, I do not wish to wallow in self-pity and self-loathing in the form of excessive admittance of one's ways of errors, I do feel that this thread is serving as a ray of healing for me and helping me mend my ways. I am being provided with very honest feedback from valuable friends here and it is helping me consciously track myself and catch myself as I interact with my mother.

As Ra, study of love and light is at the heart of evolution and I think we are all doing that together well here!

I was a bit rushed for time to post, but had been thinking about "the mysterious nature of time" and light and dark, and light selves and shadow selves, and about how we are so focused here about time and the passing of time, and about accepting our shadow selves, and well, that's just the thought that went through my head.

I was a bit rushed for time to post, but had been thinking about "the mysterious nature of time" and light and dark, and light selves and shadow selves, and about how we are so focused here about time and the passing of time, and about accepting our shadow selves, and well, that's just the thought that went through my head.

It is very telling for me that an investigation into the nature of Time has lead the thread into delving into the Subconscious and the Shadow. Sometimes, I vision Space as the Light aspect, with Time being the mysterious dark aspect.

Is it not also ironic that some 95% of the Universe is said to consist of a mysterious dark matter, a number that is reflected in our brain utilization capabilities as well!

Moreover, Time may be an aspect of the Divine Feminine too. All these are something that is coming into my consideration, as we together journey in this thread.
