I am 27 and live in Phoenix, AZ. I am not necessarily "looking" for my soulmate since I know the natural course of my incarnation will either intersect her's or perhaps it won't at all. Either way, actively trying to find her wont do any good or on the other hand appearing to do nothing to try to find her may bring us together.

What qualities I find important in her are practically irrelevant because she is the person she is, and my expectations won't change who she is. I suppose if anything I would want this person to speak from her open heart and never even feel the need to tell me a lie, even if it's a little white lie to "save my feelings".

I find it kinda ironic I actually stumbled on this thread, I just recently started doing some searching again, perhaps not necessarily for someone who's ready to take the plunge into a full-on relationship, but rather build off a solid connection/friendship first and see what that unfolds into. I'm a little particular on age, ranging from 22-28 (I'm 25), although I'm willing to work around that. Being within proximity is always nice too. Other than that I'd love to meet anyone, even for one conversation - worst case I can still make a new friend

In a channelling by Joshiah I recall him saying if you want a relationship you must be very specific in your wants and needs. He said that often we attract partners who are not compatible because we don't take the time to think about what it is we want.

He suggested making a list of the attributes you want in a partner, a list that no one else will see (lest you be made to feel your wants and needs are superficial etc) and to then go about visualising this / day dreaming it with as much emotion as you can.

I can vouch for it's efficacy. An exact reproduction of my perfect partner materialised within a couple of months of making my list.

It does work. However I left out one very important point in my list....that although there is an intense reciprocal attraction, that it then not be to a level where you are both intimidated by each other because of the perceived perfection. So neither party is capable of comfortably approaching the other.

Now my Higher Self has hijacked this potential person of my dreams and is utilising it for further catalyst. Making me realise my power, learning to love myself unconditionally and building confidence.

My BFF says we are like stones polishing each other into gems. Because I want a perfect relationship, and I want my partner to be perfect, I must wait until we reach the minimum requirement. I'm just going with the flow now. One thing I wont allow is another mediocre relationship. I'd rather be single!

Worked for me, in fact, most times when i want to manifest i manifest so well that i now have little to no idea on what i actually want to manifest. So i randomly manifest people and instances into my life most of which i have no idea if i really want.

Its kind of akin to having perfect power but no idea what i really want it because the stuff i really want cant be done without timetravel and that would lead to traveling into traveling into traveling into and so on.

Long story short, manifesting is easy, knowing what i want to manifest is difficult.

I dunno, I get the feeling down here in 3D I am trapped in a cage and completely blocked, all way of manifesting or visualizing stuff never work out, except superficially for short moments maybe... and I am not talking only about a mate here, I am talking in general.
There are so many things I would like to change, starting from my location and place of work, but I don't know how, nor do I know how to get there, nor do I know where to go.
It doesn't exactly help to be more of a thinking than of a "doing" person, either.
It only scratches the surface, it does not go deeper and it never gets put into practice. It is like making one step forward and one step back and then being in approximately the same spot again.

hm yeah, I made this list for a loving tender male, great sense of humour all the usual stuff. I found someone who was loving and tender at first but then after some time showed his psychopathic side by being physically and verbally abusive...
that is how it usually ends. It starts great and promising but turns out differently. Again, not only referring to relationships here.

i just used a superstitious ritual type thing to ask the universe for a girlfriend and a good time(good time referring to life in general :-P) and bam! she appears in my life suddenly. now if nothing happens i guess the universe is incredible funny XD sending me a "girl-friend" :-P as she is truly an amazing friend. haha, only time will tell if there is anything more between us. :-) but at least i have a lifelong friend no matter what :-)

It's worth a try. The idea of keeping a journal in present tense as if it's already manifest is a good thing. I think I'll get back into meditation. I definitely have invested meaning in what I desire.
