    Interesting talk by Rupert Sheldrake on Epigenetics, Morphogenesis and telepathic imprinting.

    My friend calls this utter nonsense, so he's turned me off of it.

    Interesting Documentary on the traditional medicine man/shaman practises in the Amazon. Eight individuals (7 Americans and 1 Australian I believe) with various illnesses spend 30 days in retreat in an attempt to be healed from their conditions.

    This would probably suit the Health and Diet forum better if it were not for the nuances of faith and consent displayed by some of the volunteers. Also the title of the documentary provides some qualification for this thread Smile .

    He only believes what's fact, like proven in Science. And he's an atheist.

    He based his opinion on this: http://skepdic.com/morphicres.html

    We usually don't agree. But I also don't have evidence about what I believe. So it's hard to say.

    Hi, spirit fans.

    I am +-atheist also, and it does NOT cut off spirituality.

    My best 2 argumentS for those who brag that the mind does not
    make actions on the material are:
    1 = The placebo effect !

    2 = The "random generators" !
    http://noosphere.princeton.edu/results.html

    See what 9/11, #80 & 81 did on the random generators:
    http://noosphere.princeton.edu/911formal.html

    It totaly unbalanced the randomness !!

    Blue skies.

    I also believe that Care Bears exist. While my friend does not.
    So I can have a little more faith.
