    I hate to break the bad news, IGW, but this place is actually an artificially-engineered tourist trap!
    The "turquoise ice" is artfully-manufactured in vast quantities at a secret plant and shipped overland in special containers
    to the lake-site, where it's generously strewn-about, and cunningly arrayed to look natural.
    This shockingly cynical fraud upon an innocent public's aesthetical sense must stop!!!
