Shazam cat has come back after 3 months! She was at the pizza parlor down the street wooing the employees. They fed her and apparently she got inside the restaurant too!! They love this cat yet this cat keeps alluding me and I cannot track her whereabouts. I'm actively trying to trap her......AGAIN!!!!!
She had some mange but I saw the hair grew back. I led her back to my backyard to the food. My colony cats must know of her very well and they were checking her out obviously when I led her. Milkshake, Zeus, Maximus, and Kaye were all there looking. No aggression from my cats. Shazam hissed.
I trapped her in late May but due to a BS and highly questionable response to Covid-19 by our governments....I couldn't get her fixed because the low spay clinics were closed. I called the animal hospital and explained my story but they refused to take her. That really sucked and I didn't like that.
She was nice at first in the pet carrier, but I sadly found out that she was not adoptable as she was completely wild after I let her out if her cage. She just growled and hissed at me out of nowhere and DEMANDED she be put back out. She never attacked me but I was scared. Its really like a mini lion that you are dealing with. Lol I had to use the cat trap again in the room I had her in to get her back outside.
But I was really happy to see her come back. She must be fixed though. I cannot afford to have an un-spayed female cat wondering around having kittens. But in my cat colony all are fixed. This cat most likely wondered down from a few blocks from where I live.
She's probably been on her own for most of her 8-9 month existence. She knows very well of my colony but I think her problem is that she never learned to socialize with other cats though. She is always welcome to join the colony.
