I like the part in this song when it says something about a wanderer. Elton John probably did not mean wanderer as we understand the word but I think its neat anyways.

I've liked that song since I was little and heard it in The Lion King!
I especially like these two lines: There's a time for everyone if they only learn, that the twisting kaleidoscope moves us all in turn. By the way, there is a thread for sharing inspirational music in the Life on Planet Earth forum! http://www.bring4th.org/forums/showthread.php?tid=1216

I know, but my I wanted to draw attention to that one particular part of the lyrics, I like the song too but my list of recommended music would probably fill up that whole thread I just wanted to start this thread because I felt like it, I used to be too rigid with what I allow myself to do, so doing something as "ineffecient" as starting a thread about a minor topic I think is helpful to my spiritual growth.

How many sorrows
Do you try to hide In the world of illusion That's covering your mind? I'll show you something good Oh I'll show you something good When you open your mind You'll discover the sign That there's something you longing to find - The miracleof love.... Will take away your pain The miracle of love Comes your way again... //

I find it's more than allowing ourselves to do something. Being in a state of allowing without judgment is as I mentioned a state of being. This really helps in growing spiritually. I'd go as far to say how far we go is about how much we trust Creator. When we allow a little more here and there, there are times when our fears start to come out. We get through the fears, and we really can shine. Good song by the way. - GW

That's what I thought as well! Turtledude - no, it's another song lyrics, but I just felt to post it here since it is also about love. |
