I've been lately practicing astral projection (am very motivated). It's at least an opportunity to meet anthro beings for real. Haven't had luck yet, but I've only been doing it for 2 days. I've had success in the past. I wonder if it's possible to build a relationship with an astral being.

I'd like to think you can meet a unique individual rather than a thought construct. Because knowing my ability to maintain a constant thought, he'd probably end up deformed.

This is as close to the answer to the question of "is there an afterlife" as ther ecan be, i would love the answer to.

If they maintain themselves properly despite me thinking of it in the astral then... =)

I don't think we can know anything for sure in this density. The whole point is to see what we will believe and what we will do, based entirely on faith.

Confused, here I am watching this documentary, mentioning south India, which reminds me of you and the time thread and that I wanted to ask the question about procrastinating (apparently I procrastinated asking this question, duh)
Procrastinating deals with time, putting off stuff you don't wanna deal with.
I am sure I am not the only one.
time is fluid, some say it doesn't even exist. So why do we procrastinate?
is it our way to "playfully" fool around with linearity?

Meerie, you expect too much from a novice like me!

If I knew the real mystery of time by now, I would have been in a more efficient state of living and being on this planet! :p

Alpha Centauri, that reminds me of a dream I had some time ago, copying it in here from the dream thread:

Interesting, I have also had a UFO dream the other day. During the day, I had jokingly mentioned in conversation with someone, that if a UFO with benevolent aliens came and they asked me if I wanted to go on the spaceship with them, I probably would.
Then that night, I had a very vivid dream. I was in a house, looking out the window, and the night sky was as starry as I had never seen it before here. Then something came along, it looked like a big golden ellipse and in the middle of that elipse there was this spaceship. Everything was golden and the spaceship moved along with the ellipse... the ellipse was kind of turning around in a swirling motion, causing the movement (I do not know if I express myself clearly in English here...?) Then it was out of sight, over the house.
When I awoke I was still completely under the spell of that dream and then I got "Alpha Centauri". the next day I googled it and it appears aliens from A.C. indeed seem benevolent! Has anyone here heard about or had an experience with them?

Looks like the distance is wrong in the article. It's actually 4.367 light years from us.

Actually I think it was both... something inside my head like a voice saying centauri, and then I remembered there is a star constellation called Alpha Centauri. And in the semi-darkness of my room, I saw my laundry rack where I had left some things to dry, and its contours looked like a bull (taurus)
(my late dads astrological sign was taurus, btw, so it might have gotten mixed up - there is also a star cluster called Taurus)

Meerie, may be the Alpha Centurians are looking to induct you into the order of the positive STO knights, willing to serve the galaxy with courage and compassion Though that appeared a bit funny, I actually wrote that after watching this nice video on the Jedi training philosophy into the use of the Force in a positive manner.
