I remember a little while ago there was some talk of a logo for LL and/or Bring4th - I can't clearly remember. Anyway, I was walking home and trying to imagine how to succinctly represent the differences between the polarities without resorting to hackneyed good and evil imagery.

    I came up with this:

The positive polarity devotes its energy toward reaching back to those under it and helping them up to their own level. In turn, they are helped up by those above them.

The negative polarity gathers as many of those as it can under itself and climbs up to the next level on their backs.

Therefore, a very simple way to represent the difference would be using two icons: one made up of an open hand above reaching to an open hand below; and another made up of a foot stepping on an open hand below. Very simple, and yet it includes the basic difference in its entirety.

    What does everybody think?

I'm just talking to you as a person here. Just because it says mod next to my name doesn't mean I speak for Bring4th in this regard. Smile

I think it's an interesting idea, and I'd like to see the mental picture you have of it! But how does it really represent Bring4th? (I leave out L/L because they've settled on the Don Quixote artwork as their logo.)
    See this:

With Bring4th... I think what we'd be trying to represent with a logo is a place where people from all corners of this earth can come and speak of both radically new and timelessly old ideas. It's a place of self-discovery and expression of the spirit. It's a place where the Law of One is discussed.

So, I've got... earth, magnifying glass, sun... just throwing out ideas that are popping up. :p And for now we've got the nice windmills that tie into the Don Quixote theme. haha

I dunno, there's a 'dance' of dark and light, each revealing something unaccepted to the other. For example, the 4D thought battling can't happen without lack of understanding of both orientations. So the unified rather than polarized (opposing) depiction is more suggestive of oneness to me.

"Please attempt to view the entities about you as part of the Creator."

"We do not consider that a separation exists between the consciousness-raising efforts of the distortion which you project as a personality and the distortion which you project as an other personality."

"...we use any chance we may have to reiterate the basic understanding/learning that all beings serve the Creator."

"...those who seek to serve the self are seen by the Law of One as precisely the same as those who seek to serve others, for are all not one? To serve yourself and to serve others is a dual method of saying the same thing, if you can understand the essence of the Law of One."

"There is no polarity for all will be, as you would say, reconciled at some point in your dance through the mind/body/spirit complex which you amuse yourself by distorting in various ways at this time. This distortion is not in any case necessary. It is chosen by each of you as an alternative to understanding the complete unity of thought which binds all things. You are not speaking of similar or somewhat like entities or things. You are every thing, every being, every emotion, every event, every situation. You are unity. You are infinity. You are love/light, light/love. You are. This is the Law of One."

Hatonn recommends the mandorla as representative of the merging of intellect with intuition:

    http://www.llresearch.org/transcripts/issues/2006/2006_0226_2.aspx

Quote:It is difficult to talk to an entity about faith. It cannot be proven. It is a fool’s choice. Yet it is the archetypal choice of third density. Shall you, by faith alone, acknowledge the love and the light that is your essence and therefore become more and more deeply who you are? Or shall you wander from place to place attempting to put together the puzzle that never can be completely placed in a finished frame by intellect alone?
Those things that have occurred to you have shown you that there is reason to have faith even though it is unreasonable to do so. This is the paradox you now face. Your mind and your heart seem to be paradoxical also, but we ask you to look at the figure of the mandorla, that figure where two circles intersect with a fish-shaped section of commonality. What do your mind and your heart have in common? You. They are two faculties of one being. The way you allow them to be integrated defines your experience.
