I find myself engrossed in the apparent material-social reality often and while it can be quite fun and educational often I find catalyst every once in a while which reminds me to not lose sight of the big picture, for instance today someone on facebook who usually only posts about music posted this youtube video http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XhsBCmmGt...ture=share which reminded me of something which I had heard and read many times and which I believe to be true yet often lose awareness of: that matter is not solid and our thoughts and feeling create our reality to a certain extent. Then I came on here and found a new sub-forum "Spiritual Implications of Politics and Current Events" which I think is a great idea.
The very existence of this forum and returning to it every day is one of the things which reminds me of the spiritual nature of reality and the transient nature of the apparent material-social world. What do you guys do to remind yourself of the spiritual nature of reality while living your day to day lives?
