Stein and the Greens hope to ultimately create an America and world that works for everyone. To be sure, they believe the anti-establishment revolt is driven by very real suffering, very real unemployment and very real falling wages.
What’s more, not only did they just earn over one million more votes in this election, doubling their vote count from 2012, but appeared to have tapped into the anger at economic inequality.
Instead of using the anger to manipulate and divide the people against each other, though, Stein believes the Green’s guiding principles must always be unity, empathy, a call to action and peaceful revolution which avoids the endless cycles of violence.
