Let me preface this forecast with my observation and experience as an Aries - so far this month I am filled with an uncontrollable lust and am not sure how to channel this energy. I found deep yogic breathing combined with meditation only intensified passionate feelings. Amethyst has dulled emotions somewhat but not sufficiently. As a single gal I'm praying this month is over with quick smart!

April is going to be a wild, liberating, unpredictable and, at times, explosive month.
The Sun in Aries is at the centre of a tight stellium or multiple conjunction involving Hygeia and Uranus on one side and Venus and Mars on the other. This stellium is full of fire, volatility, creative passion and healing, sexual magic, all demanding freedom of expression.
When these energies are free to run, it can provide for great awakenings on many levels and experience that, while unsettling, can reinvigorate any aspect of our lives.
Uranus alone specialises with breaking down Saturnian structures that have lost their usefulness and become imprisoning of our essential individuality and lifeforce.
He also reflects the movement of the sacred kundalini power in our systems and, when combined with the kundalini healing goddess Hygeia, it's a match that can provide for great spiritual and healing openings. This is particularly so in any situation where we can really let go. The healing and liberating potential of this applies itself equally to our relationships and sexuality through the connections to Venus and Mars. These themes are repeated by multiple trines to the very tantric and spiritually powerful conjunction of the Hekate and Shiva asteroids in Leo.
Venus and Mars, especially in a fire sign, is a potent, erotic and muscular combination that generates great passion and creative juice, energy that must have some forms of releasing expression. Uranus and Hygeia, in turn, lift the voltage and the volatility, the sexual healing possibilities and the ultra creative potentials, making it an artist's dream if you can give the energy full rein.
However good this sounds, the stellium also places itself in total alignment with the tightening Uranus/Pluto square, the most powerful and challenging collective aspect of these years in our lives.
Simultaneously, it receives terse, uncomfortable inconjuncts from Saturn in Scorpio. This means that the whole combination in Aries receives squares from Pluto in Capricorn. These aspects can have a controlling effect on all its exceptional possibilities but also force the radical energies of change, represented by Uranus, to go deeper for longer lasting, bedrock transformation.
Subsequently, we don't have full rein, despite good sextiles from Jupiter in Gemini, which supports the urges towards greater freedom. And being in the middle of the tug-o-war between these two energy giants requires great awareness if we are to honour the calls of both.
There is no doubt that we must find ways of expressing the fire dynamic, whether through wild dance, cathartic energy work or Dionysian sex and creative play, as to not do so would bring out the destructive elements in the process. Thwarted Uranian energy can become explosive through accidents, unexpected violence and various dramatic outburst of crazy, unpredictable energy. Excitement can become hyperstress, somatasising into illnesses and other meltdowns.
Pluto has a way of challenging us to own our own power by setting up others to attempt power-over tactics, particularly using control through guilt, manipulation, subconscious pressure and intimidation. On another level, this reflects our own inner controllers that keep us limited by fear and despair. Even though both are tough to face up to, we can use the Uranian gifts of more exalted awareness to identify what really does keep our individuality and its fire from blazing brightly. Instead of being rebellious and reactive, we can use that awareness to take responsibility for digging this kind of patterning out by its roots and therefore honour the deeper transformative calling.
Pluto also continues into the month with the less dramatic but incredibly supportive sextiles to Saturn in Scorpio and Chiron in Pisces, who, in turn, trine each other. We can be grateful for the steadying, grounding and yet still fluid influences of this three-way alignment, in the midst of a continuing chaotic collective climate. They are like an ancient karri tree in a cyclone, flexing but never threatened, and the primary reason why some things are a little more settled than last year.
And it is this trio that is so supportive of each of us taking up the opportunities for real change and deep healing. It is Saturn at his best, a torchbearer leading us into the deeper layers of Scorpio, b
ringing the energies of the transformative and healing aspects of self into piercing focus. At every moment, he teaches about the nature of our deeper self and its process and cycles, repeating the mantra of absolute self responsibility for co-creating our reality.
This month, the ruler of the mind, Mercury, is conjunct Chiron in Pisces and therefore also in positive aspect to both Saturn and Pluto. It makes our minds more available to these mysteries of self and healing and is one of the better transits for studying inner and outer sources of knowledge. While the Aries Sun wants to go ballistic with passion and flame, Mercury is quietly hanging out with less exuberant teachers, absorbing through the mind and, by psychic osmosis, their teachings.
Finally, Jupiter, now getting into forward motion gear in Gemini, is aspecting just about everything in the chart, spreading his grace abundantly around and each time I think of him as I write, I hear trumpets blaring with excitement.
Have a wild and safe time. Enjoy the ride.
